How It Works
The legal services industry is very complex and most people have absolutely no idea how it works until they are forced into a legal matter, and even then most people do not get an accurate picture of the inner workings of an attorney's office.
Here is a very brief and basic description of how it works:
1) Most attorneys have a caseload of at least 25 clients for which they are responsible, so they do not have time to do much more than delegate assignments, meet with clients, and appear in court;
2) A client meets with an attorney that has an hourly rate of anywhere between $250 to $ 750/hour for an initial consultation where the client informs the attorney of the details of his/her case;
3) After meeting with the client, the attorney goes and informs his employees, which are law clerks, paralegals, etc. (billed out by the attorney at a rate of $125 to $175/hour, but only actually paid $25 to $75/hour), of everything that the client told the attorney;
4) The law clerks and paralegals then perform most, if not all, of the case management, legal research, legal document preparation, process service and private investigation coordination, etc. for the client;
5) Based on the work that the law clerks and paralegals do for the attorney, the attorney presents the paperwork to the client and represents the client in court.
Most law firms are not gigantic, billion dollar businesses that have multiple partners on staff. Most law firms are actually small businesses, which are sole proprietorships or corporations with one or two partners and less than ten employees. Running a law firm is very difficult, tedious and chaotic and every law firm requires outsourcing of things like process serving and private investigation because it is much cheaper to pay for one project at a time than to pay to keep an extra hand on staff full time. Also, when an unexpected influx of work comes in, many law firms need temporary help to get through the busy season. We offer all the help a law firm or individual attorney needs to make sure that business runs smoothly and that every loose end is taken care of.
People that do not have an attorney and do not want to rack up egregious legal fees often feel stuck when trying to navigate their way through the legal system. Sometimes these people have had bad experiences with attorneys in the past or simply cannot afford to hire an attorney. Valkyrie Legal Solutions offers everything an attorney's office does with better, personalized service and without the gigantic bill by skipping the middleman and hiring out the paralegals, law clerks, private investigators, etc. directly and at the same rate an attorney would pay for them.
